This house has potential all over it. This house features a cupola (dome like structure for light) most likely inspired by the Italianate design, which there are some homes in Winfield, KS with that design. It is believed the roofing and decking were redone in 2010, although the current owner does not have any documentation of such. It is obvious from some of the attached pictures there has been re-decking done. This is an 1890 built house according to county records! The home appears to be level, but no inspections have been done. The exterior bottom part of the siding was redone in vinyl at some point, but the classical upper level siding was left in it's original look. The current owners purchased this home less then a year ago, with the intentions of making it their home. They have not been able to a do that, but the improvement work that has been done, was done prior to their ownership so they have no first hand knowledge of it. There is a dedached garage and workshop area. This building could be a 3 car garage, but is now set up as a two car and a separate workshop type room. This home is being sold AS IS WHERE IS, so the sellers will make no repairs. There is no wallboard, so this home is wide open. There does appear to be some original hardwoods, but the majority of the floors have been replaced with modern sub flooring. There are newer steps up to an attic space that could be made into a great owners suite, office or playroom.
